Why I started DIYI0T?
Has it ever happened to you that you have implemented a project with an Arduino or Raspberry Pi and after a few months you want to change something about it. However, you forgot to take notes and now you need a whole weekend for a small change?
That’s what happened to me in early 2019 when I spent another weekend changing a few details about my weather station. But this time I documented all steps in detail in a simple text file.
After I documented a few projects, I wondered if there was someone who could use these tutorials. So I decided to start a blog in June 2019 to help people who are facing the same questions and problems as I am. DIYI0T was born.

The blog DIYI0T was founded by me in July 2019. I run the blog in my spare time, but try to write as many articles as possible without losing quality.
My main job is working as a data scientist for a German car manufacturer. Before that I studied electrical engineering and economics at the RWTH Aachen in Germany.
